As of the 2010 census, the town/city population was 163. Randolph was originally called Waterville, and under the latter name was laid out in 1856. It was retitled Randolph in honor Gardner Randolph, a pioneer settler. Randolph was originally positioned a mile east of its present location.

Randolph is positioned at 39 25 48 N 96 45 34 W (39.430054, -96.759559). According to the United States Enumeration Bureau, the town/city has a total region of 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2), all of it land. Randolph is part of the Manhattan, Kansas Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the census of 2010, there were 163 citizens , 71 homeholds, and 43 families residing in the city.
