State of Kansas, and part of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.
As of the 2010 census, the town/city population was 5,720, and the 2015 census estimate is 6,074. The region code is 913, and the two zip codes are 66018 and 66019.

In the city, the populace was spread out with 30.5% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 8.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
